I got to perform Cinderella (in Spanish) at the local elementary school. We had eighty of the cutest second graders in attendance, and boy did we make them laugh! 

Brain Storms features new works by young writers. Every year in the city of Tulsa, youth write and submit short plays. The contest winners then have their plays produced by the University of Tulsa.

The University of Tulsa put on Eighteen 2 Twenty-Four, a collection of short plays about rape culture. 

This two month experience was the best theatre training I received during school.

Julia gets to be a simpering lover, a heart-broken woman, a faithful servant, and the first woman who disguised herself as a man in a Shakespearean play!

I'll just say that swords, a carrot, a giant toothbrush and a pool noodle were among the props used, and I'll let your imagination ponder what that looked like.
