One Shot Heroes was created for the California Department of Health and is part of California’s curriculum in public elementary and junior high schools state-wide.

One Shot Heroes stars band members Jessie (Morgan Lynn Krueger) and Cory (Cameron Jones) on a quest to save their friend, who is dying from meningitis. They enlist the help of their crazy scientist neighbor, Dr. Warpton. Using his temperamental time machine, Jessie goes back in time to get her friend vaccinated before she contracts the disease.

I grew up in the theatre, but One Shot Heroes was my first ever film! I had never taken a film acting class; in fact, watching the finished product was the first time I had ever seen myself act on-screen.

There was a lot of running and leaping through midair in this project, and it was amazing to see the special effects in the final cut. I had always wanted to go through a wormhole like in Stargate SG-1, so leaping through Dr. Warpton’s time machine was a dream come true.
